How to re-pot the curry leaf plant?   

  • Take an empty pot. use a bigger pot, it’s volume should be about four liters. make sure that the pot has a hole at the bottom for the drainage. 
  • Prepare the soil by mixing organic compost and some stones in it. These stones help keeping the mixture nice and light and to make sure that there‚Äôs not too much water around the roots.  
  • Add some stones at the bottom of the pot for better drainage. 
  • Fill the pot with the soil and plant the curry leaf plant in it. Once it is done add some compost at the top layer of the soil and gently press the soil to remove any air gaps. 
  • Avoid pressing the soil roughly as roots of this plant are delicate and you can damage the roots during the process. 
  • Once it is done lightly water the soil so that it sets the soil nicely and the soil around the root is nice and damp. 
  • Before watering the plant again, see that the top layer of soil is completely dried. 

Use citrus feed for the plant to provide extra nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The plant requires a lot of trace elements to keep the leaves green and healthy. 

How to prepare the citrus feed? 

  • The citrus powder is available in the market. you will easily get it in garden stores. 
  • Take one gram of citrus feed; i.e, one scoop and add it in one liter of water into the watering can. 
  • Stir it properly and make sure that it is properly mixed with water. 
  • After watering the plant add a little bit of this prepared citrus feed into the soil and it will be enough for a week until the top of the soil completely dries off.
